Getting to the laboratory

From Grenoble bus and railway stations, take Tram Line B towards Oxford to reach the CNRS Campus. Get off at the Oxford terminus stop.

Bus lines C6 and 22 serve the CNRS Campus.

Bus C6 takes you to the Polygone Scientifique from Saint-Martin-d’Hères.
Bus No. 22 takes you to the Polygone Scientifique from Saint-Egrève train station.

From Lyon / Paris / Marseille (A48 / E711 motorway) :

In Grenoble, follow the signs for “Grenoble Bastille – Gares”, then “Gares Europole”, and take exit No. 16 “Grenoble / Polygone Scientifique”.
Then follow the directions on the enclosed access map..

 

From Chambéry / Geneva / Turin (A41 / E712 motorway) :

In Grenoble, follow the signs for “Lyon”, then “Rocade Sud”. Next, take the A480 motorway towards Lyon and exit at No. 1 “Sassenage / Polygone Scientifique”.

Grenoble train station provides fast connections to France’s major cities. By TGV, Grenoble is only 1 hour from Lyon and 3 hours from Paris or Marseille.

Lyon–Saint Exupéry Airport (LYS)

From Lyon–Saint Exupéry Airport, you can travel to Grenoble by train or shuttle bus:

When you arrive in Grenoble, you can get off at the OXFORD stop, located directly in front of the CNRS entrance.

A TGV train connects Lyon–Saint Exupéry Airport to Grenoble in 1 hour 7 minutes, but services are much less frequent than the shuttle buses.

Grenoble–Saint Geoirs Airport (GNB)

From Grenoble–Saint Geoirs Airport, you can reach Grenoble by bus in approximately 45 minutes.

Geneva Airport (GVA)

De l’aéroport de Genève vous pouvez vous rendre sur Grenoble par le train ou la navette.

From Geneva Airport, you can travel to Grenoble by train or shuttle bus:

By train: Trains run from Geneva Airport to Geneva Cornavin (CFF) railway station every 15 minutes. From there, take a connecting train to Grenoble.
The total journey time is over 2.5 hours.
