Léonie Canet, recipient of the Anuita Winter-Klein Prize

Léonie Canet is a professor at Université Grenoble Alpes, in the Laboratory of Physics and Modeling of Condensed Matter (LPMMC).
She is a theoretical physicist at the LPMMC. Her research field is the statistical physics of systems far from equilibrium. She is interested in the critical phenomena that occur in such systems, which are characterized by fascinating emergent properties such as universality and scale invariance, with applications to turbulence, stochastic interface growth, and Bose–Einstein condensation in polariton gases.
